Path to Victory is a program the Latino Victory Project created to encourage, recruit, and train Latinos nationwide to run for office and work in political campaigns.
Running for office comes with its own set of hardships for people of color, particularly women, and this program aims to close the gap to ensure that the pipeline for Latino political power continues to grow. The Latino Victory Fund has trained over 120 candidates in Texas, Florida, Arizona, Wisconsin, New York, and Pennsylvania through this program.
Over two days, candidates, prospective candidates, and staff will have a chance to learn from experienced political operatives and listen to the stories of local Latino elected officials on the signature “Now You’ve Won, What’s Next?” panel. Additionally, Latino Victory, in its commitment to make the training as accessible as possible to all Latinos, will provide travel and lodging scholarships to those who otherwise may not be able to attend.
The training is conducted by NDTC, with financial support and additional training from Google and ActBlue.
