The drastic consequences of climate change and pollution affect all areas of our lives and will only worsen if drastic action is not taken. These consequences are being felt disproportionately by communities of color and low-income communities. Georgia has an opportunity to be a national leader in offering climate change solutions by providing innovative and drastic solutions to this existential challenge. The GALEO Impact Fund supports policies that systematically tackle climate change by targeting corporate and industrial polluters. In addition, we also collaborate with regional partners in a grassroots effort to educate and activate our community to take action on environmental justice in their own backyards.
